A CO2 Alarm is programmed to go off if it senses potentially unsafe levels of CO2 in the air. Because CO2 is odorless and colorless, a person is not equipped to determine if an area is safe or not. You should contact your local fire department by calling 911, they will send a team to check the levels of CO2 in the air and take action if needed.

If your CO2 Alarm is going off, you should consider keeping everyone out of the area until it is deemed safe by professionals. Once you have notified the fire department, submit a New Ticket indicating that your CO2 Alarm is activated and we will dispatch a Pepsi Equipment Service Technician to evaluate whether the issue is related to the Pepsi equipment.
